Barbara’s Qualifications

Barbara was thoroughly schooled in classic and contemporary interiors as a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design. You can feel comfortable that her training is well founded in world-class design and aesthetic principles.

“Certainly, architecture has a major role to play. But how a room is put together and how a feeling flows through a home is done with consistent styling and subtle but integrated color palettes.”

Barbara is a Certified Color Expert and a graduate of the Maria Killam Colour Academy, British Columbia, Canada. Her designs are both subtle and sophisticated.

Barbara was an award-winning Interior Designer at Ethan Allen. Barbara also sold very high-end furnishings at Safavieh, where she worked daily with dozens of world-famous elite brands. She is an affiliate member of ASID, a certified stager with the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.

She was a communications coach with Dale Carnegie where she taught and practiced the power of effective listening. This has served her well with her own clients.
